Join us at the Peoria Stadium on October 26th at p. PSD will host the "Thrill the World" event in two weeks! The purpose of this event is to promote community, physical activity, and family involvement. All students, families, and staff are invited to participate.

This is an open event and participants can invite friends from other schools or towns. All procedes will be donated to a local charity. How do I register? Please select the "location" tab and select Peoria. Same day registration will be available. All participants must check in the on the day of the event and complete a waiver. Participants are encouraged to have school group practice sessions.

Over the next two weeks, District will host open dance practice to learn the Thriller dance at Peoria High School. Anyone can attend! Who can attend? Over the next few years, as the other organizers moved away or became involved in other activities, Diane took over as the event manager. Diane has been teaching line dances to the children in the Rio Rancho afterschool program since ; a job that evolved from volunteering to teach Thriller at all 10 elementary schools.

Diane had the privilege of teaching Thriller to staff of the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta so that they could perform in a flash mob for their volunteers. She also taught the organizers of Relay For Life so that they could perform in a flash mob for their event attendees. Diane and the Thrill The World Albuquerque flash mob team have performed numerous flash mobs in the Albuquerque area.

When she is not dancing, Diane enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, crafting, and volunteering at her church. Jenette had longed to join Thrill the World Eugene Oregon since its inception in It was not until that she was able to break away from her work schedule, and now she is on the team that organizes their Thrill The World event.

Her dance group has an open invitation to perform at gatherings for the Boy Scouts of America for donations to Shelter Care, and they also drive to many locations in a day to perform for contributions. She has been involved with the organization since , and she has attended every race since its inception in in Ferndale, California. Jenette is an Old Slug Queen S. They are the unofficial ambassadors for the City of Eugene. They volunteer in many activities including emceeing at events, presenting medals and awards, participating in marketing campaigns, tossing the first pitch at the Eugene Emeralds baseball game, opening art shows, marching in parades, making appearances at fundraising events, opening city parks, planting trees, reading stories to children at the library and in schools, organizing public events, judging contests, encouraging STEAM programs science, technology, engineering, art, math , and assisting with food drives.
