Can you mix gobies
I once kept a purple firefish with a red firefish Joined Mar 31, Messages Location Gonzales. I've kept a yellow watchman goby and a diamond watchmand goby together in the past with great success.
In fact, the two fish followed one another around and shared the same dug out caves in the sand. Note: when I say followed one another I mean slowly and peacefully, not in a chasing manner.
Yeah mixing Gobies can be tricky sometimes. The only time they would exchange blows was when the other would swim a little too close to the others territory. Wasnt really much of a fight, the Diamond would just chase him off away from his cave. You must log in or register to reply here. David A. Crandall, M. Fatherree, M. Ken Feldman Jon E. Shimek, Ph. Personally, I think you'd be fine. Maybe someone has some direct experience doing this, though. Show Ignored Content. Ask a Question Want to reply to this thread or ask your own question? Ask a Question. I'm rebuilding after a long bout with ich. I'm considering a blue-dot jawfish and would like to mix it with a goby of some sorts. If so, or if not, what gobies have you enjoyed? I've only had a yellow watchman, years ago. Also, I have 3 Bartlett's anthias.
They eat in a frenzy. Would my jawfish or goby have trouble getting food with the anthias? Grant , Apr 9, Joined: May 1, Messages: 1, Location: new jersey.
